Seriously it's 75% the same classes as CoH. They added a couple of different class types like the Necromancer, Ninja, and 2 more I think. Added a more evil looking costume stuff. You start out and there is this god aweful klaxon alarm going off constantly. I was like WTF is this annoying crap!! Turns out you start as part of a prison break. The first god damn mission should be "SHUT OFF THE ANNOYING ALARM". You can still hear the damn thing when you get outside. Fought a couple mobs with my Necro. Logged off, uninstalled. Same old same old.

Going gold has nothing to do with sales figures. when a game goes gold its when it has finished development and passed qa
A master is created based on the latest version from dev that passed qa and has been marked for retail release, that copy is then sent to the distributor for mass production.
When a game goes gold it means it has been released to the publisher for retail release.

The other interesting thing I heard is that they're doing something to free up names on characters that haven't been played in a certain period of time. Not interesting in that I care, mind you... just kind of unusual. I suppose this game is less forgiving for random string of gibberish type names like most fantasy MMO's, so freeing up names would be a good thing... particularly all the current anti-hero type names.
Anyway, I wasn't exactly jumping for joy at what I've heard so far. In theory it sounds kind of cool, until I remember that I didn't even get any character very high in the old game for lack of interest (particularly when the missions started to be a bitch to solo).
